Episco"Pals" Epiphany Party (Episco"Pals" are children sixth grade and under) January 6, 2007 We started the day at St. Paul's Catheral, Peoria where we participated in a Eucharist to celebrate the Epiphany, accompanied by worship music led by Erin Scalisi. After Mass, we had lunch, complete with a visit by the Magi, who brought each child a gift. After lunch we traveled to the Riverplex for an afternoon of fun in the indoor waterpark.   2007 High School Lenten Retreat March 17-18, 2007 We met at Camp Milan, Milan, IL,  which has been the sight for retreats and revivals for over 100 years, for an overnight silent retreat focusing on the sacrifice made for us by Christ on the Cross. The retreat talks focused on the Last Seven Words of Christ from the Cross, which were illustrated by clips from the recent film The Passion of the Christ. This was an opportunity for the young people to take some time to be still before their Lord. Fusion: Junior High Spring Retreat May 10-11, 2007 Living Springs Camp, Lewistown, IL We met for an overnight at Living Springs Camp. The retreat began with activities on Friday evening including sports and the chance to climb on the camp's indoor rock climbing wall. The focus of the retreat was the love of Christ illustrated by the film The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.  A beautiful spring afternoon on Satruday also offered the opportunity for the participants to spend some time paddle-boating on the camp's lake.       Episco"Pals" Bishop's Bash Saturday, July 28, 2007 Trinity Church, Rock Island, IL We met at Trinity Church and celebrated a Mass in their chapel with worship music led by Fr. Ron Drummond. Following worship, Becky Gamage led games outside while Jason Bowden grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch.  After lunch we travelled to Whitewater Junction for an afternoon of wet fun on the waterslides.          Junior-Senior High Bishop's Bash Saturday, August 18, 2007 Bread of Life Anglican Fellowship, Peoria We met for Mass at the new Bread of Life location at 9201 Industrial Dr. Becky Gamage grilled hambugers and chicken breasts for dinner after the Mass.  After finishing dinner, we left for O'Brien Field for to watch the Peoria Chiefs play from a luxury box.
